New to Football

NCDP PATCH Star Rating CMYK- 4 Star

Are you brand new to football, never played club football before, don’t have an FFA number? Then you have come to the right place.

If you already have an FFA number, you will probably get more out of our “New to EPFC” page.

You are joining a massive movement in Australia! Football (also called Soccer) is the largest sport in Australia by participation numbers. While the number of people participating in sporting activities in Australia has been on a constant decline since 2001, Football is on the rise. Over the last few seasons, Eschol Park Football Club experienced almost 30% growth, plus we have been awarded a 4 star accreditation by the FFA, so we are definitely doing something right.

Eschol Park Football Club is a family-oriented club that prides itself on supporting the local community and on our ability to provide a safe place for families and children to participate in a team sporting activity which promotes fitness and team camaraderie. As a club, we participate in the Macarthur Football Association competitions during Winter (March to August/September) and we host our own competition in Summer (September to December).

Some brief information about the two competitions:

  • The Winter competition generally starts on the last weekend of March or the first weekend of April each year and runs through into early September. The club sorts players into Teams based on their preferences and ability and the teams play in the Macarthur Football Association competition. In general terms, our Junior teams from 12 years and older will be graded for Division 1 only, and the grading occurs after the school holidays. For more information, check out our "Winter Competition Info" page.
  • The Summer competition commences in the first week of October this year and runs for 10 to 12 weeks to mid December in time for the Christmas break. The competition is a Team based competition and Teams can come from anywhere, our club, another club, a bunch of friends, it does not matter. It is designed to be all about Fun, Friendship and Fitness. For more information, check out our "Summer Competition Info" page.
